JULIE AMES
Julie joined the Rumours Staff in July of 2008. Her love of her trade started in jr high and continued on to Kilgore College, where she recieved her Cosmetology license. Julie specializes in healthy color. She went to New York in 2009 and passed a three part exam to become 1 of 3 Redken Certified Colorist in the Longview/Tyler area. Julie has also completed the Redken Corrective Color class in New York. Not only does she excell at hair coloring and cutting; her creativity is expressed in the special occasion designs she creates. Julie is a level 2 stylist in our salon.
Julie grew up in Longview and attended Longview Christian School. Julie has a beautiful family including her husband Chris and their brand new bundle of joy, Gabe. In her spare time she enjoys photography which can be seen on our website. The unique relationships built with her clients is something that she feels can not be experienced in other professions.
